  • Lead event planning, organizing, and execution of daily Events and Entertainment department operations and management of all departmental assets.
  • Oversee all aspects of the Event Ops crew, including hiring, training, scheduling, leading, and delivering plans of action for events and game days.
  • Assist with the Master Events Calendar and Facility Calendar while upholding Event Guidelines/SOPs, organizing and prioritizing the scheduling of events and facility resources, and ensuring all necessary entities for venue availability.
  • Planning and executing organizational, partner, and sponsor events and meetings held at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Training Facility, the Stadium, or off-site venues as assigned.
  • Manage all operational vendors and supervise all logistics on game day elements and events.
  • Develop overall plans, concepts, and theme-specific elements for all Buccaneers events.
  • Develop and implement event timelines, layouts, and script rundowns.
  • Design equipment lists, layouts, diagrams, timelines, and staffing plans for events and game days.
  • Interface with other departments as it relates to ideation for game days and events.
  • Handling Banquet Event Orders and working with Manager(s) or clients on food & beverage needs for all events.
  • Ideating, research, planning, and execution of all event aspects under the direction of Client, Manager(s) or Director.
  • Coordinate teams designed to carry out tasks involved with event preparation, event assistance, and event wrap-up.
  • Lead in the communication of events and game day directions to the various functional groups.
  • Oversee set up and breakdown of all events and home games, ensuring that safety standards are upheld and the vision of the event lead or client is realized.
  • Manage the dispensing, ordering, and maintaining event supplies and equipment, both owned and rented, to minimize loss/damage.
  • Assist with the management of department entertainment teams including the staffing, scheduling, entertainment plan, equipment needs and upkeep, uniforms, credentials, food and beverage, and all other elements as needed.
  • Manage inventory, storage, and supplies for the department, including all crews that report to the Events and Entertainment Department.
  • Assist the department with overall execution and budget adherence for all organizational events.
  • Facilitate scheduling, assignments, and the distribution of credentials, wristbands, food and beverage, and parking passes to part-time and game-day staff or contributors for events and game day.
  • Help with the overall planning, development, and entertainment for all large scale and tentpole events.
  • Continuously research, develop, and execute innovative experiences and entertainment elements.
  • Researching services and suppliers as needed for events, game day, and department necessities.
  • Process all purchase orders, working with the Purchasing and Accounting Departments to ensure accuracy, follow through, and consistency.
  • Responding to Events and Operations inquiries received through the Tampa Bay Buccaneers web site and channels.
  • Carrying out office duties, including meeting scheduling, meeting preparation, presentation decks, filing, archiving, and maintaining the orderliness of the office and storage spaces.
  • Implement departmental reports and administrative support as needed.
  • Assist with giveaway deliveries and distribution procedures.
  • Act as support and a resource for department intern(s).
  • All other duties as needed and assigned to the Events & Entertainment department.
  • Employee is responsible for work directly related to management policies or general business operations of the Company or customers under the supervision of the Senior Events Manager.
  • Employee is expected to have the training, experience and knowledge to perform the responsibilities of this position with general supervision only.
  • Employee is expected to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment.

  • Physical Demands: HIGH. This position calls for a great deal of physical exertion - operating equipment, moving supplies and equipment, receiving deliveries, storing inventory, setting up and tearing down tables, signage, pipe and drape, bunting, flags, sails, etc.
  • The aptitude to effectively create, revise, read, and analyze documents, including budgets, invoices, spreadsheets, and diagrams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience & Education
  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate work experience.
Work Environment
  • The Company is a professional, fast-paced, creative business environment. Other environmental conditions:
  • Extended evening and weekend work hours are sometimes required. Required to work all home and some away games. May have to work occasional holidays.
  • Stressful and demanding work environment in executing work on short deadlines.
  • Computer and desk work a significant part of daily activities.
  • Sitting, standing, working with hands for extended periods of time.
  • Lifting more than 50 pounds is required.
  • Job duties require employee to drive company vehicles or drive personal vehicle.
