They achieve these benefits through solutions based on their global unique numbering and identification systems, bar codes, Electronic Product Code-based RFID, data synchronization, and electronic information exchange.What Our Client Needs:Our client is looking for an Events Manager to manage external events and organize project plans in support of those events. You will also plan and manage pre-meeting and on-site logistics for live events, including conferences, community engagement meetings, and other organizational programs. In addition, you will support the internal event strategy by updating or establishing best practices, processes, and implementation tools. You'll collaborate with internal teams to manage meetings, track budgets, and develop internal schedules.Who You Are:You are innovative and resourceful, continuously seeking ways to enhance meetings and events.   • Plan, proof, and test registration sites, mobile app signage, and online event platforms.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings.
  • Gather requirements and serve as the point of contact for ancillary meetings and educational events.
  • Plan and execute staff dinners.
  • Develop and manage staff schedules and communications.
  • Lead post-conference analytics, reporting, and survey management.
  • Manage all aspects of planning for tradeshows, events, meetings, and on-site workshops, including site selection, vendor negotiation, event registration, and post-event reporting.
  • Handle registrant inquiries and issues as necessary.
  • Manage meeting preparation, supplies ordering, and shipping of event materials.
  • Identify and implement business process improvements for event strategy.
  • Manage contracts, purchase orders, and payment processing for assigned events.
  • Update project timelines, track progress, communicate risks or gaps, and assist with task follow-up.
This position requires travel as necessary (15%) and has no supervisory responsibilities.What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in meeting and event planning or project management.
  • Hands-on task execution with the ability to get things done.
  • Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced knowledge of Dynamics 365, Microsoft Office suite, and Outlook.
  • Experience with tools like Adobe Creative Suite (a plus).
  • Understanding of industry standards or other standards development methodologies (preferred).
  • Strong customer focus with excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both cross-functionally and independently in a team-oriented environment.
