Job Title: Events Manager (Temporary, Remote)Location: RemoteHours: Flexible, Monday through Friday (8 or 9 AM - 4 or 5 PM)Duration: Temporary, approximately 5 monthsCompensation: $33-$35 per hour

Position Overview:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Events Manager for a temporary assignment lasting approximately 5 months. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal teams, vendors, and sponsors to ensure smooth event operations and deliver a successful experience for exhibitors and participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibitor Inbox Management

    • Respond promptly to exhibitor inquiries.
    • Route inquiries to the appropriate internal team member for follow-up.
  • Small Meetings Support

    • Monitor and review new submissions on Smartsheet.
    • Compile responses and distribute the grid to internal stakeholders for action.
    • Research and secure restaurant options for small meetings.
    • Prepare and manage closeout reports for small meetings.
  • Conference Support

    • Pull and distribute exhibitor lists to vendor partners.
    • Send welcome emails to new exhibitors.
    • Update NetForum to maintain accurate exhibitor information.
    • Organize and file new contracts in the appropriate folders.
    • Send contracts to relevant stakeholders as needed.
    • Collaborate with the team to send communications to exhibitors.
    • Participate in team meetings and provide feedback or suggestions.
    • Research potential sponsorship items (e.g., napkins, cups, lanyards, water bottles, bags).
    • Update conference exhibitor kit documents and community site forms.
    • Manage the website by adding exhibitor and sponsor logos and making necessary updates.
  • Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree required.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to multitask and work independently.
    • Familiarity with Smartsheet, NetForum, and website content management is a plus.
    • Previous experience in event management, particularly in an administrative or coordinator role, is preferred.
