Job DescriptionThe Event Marketing Specialist is a professional who will support trade show (75%) and event-based marketing initiatives (25%) that effectively represent the Rheem family of brand while supporting the company's goals for Product Leadership, Operations Excellence, Customer Focus. The role works with the team to ensure the needs of Rheem's key audiences are met. This role is responsible for working to execute international, national, regional, and customer trade shows, special events, and sales/marketing meetings. This position requires proven project management skills. The professional must be able to consistently keep key internal stakeholders apprised of project milestones while also effectively guiding any supporting team members or partners in meeting deadlines.This role will serve our Enterprise Division in Atlanta, GA (Hybrid). Responsibilities
- Support implementation for trade show and event strategy details (involving international, national, regional, and customer trade shows, special events, and sales/marketing meetings), and monitor event assets for the Rheem family of brands across all international locations, including but not limited to: U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Middle East, Asia, etc.
- Evaluate trade show and event activities for effectiveness and identify opportunities to implement innovative, results-driven and cost-effective changes.
- Coordinate trade show and event projects from inception through implementation followed by measuring effectiveness, within the established company guidelines and processes.
- Coordinate external trade show and event partners such as event-marketing companies, promotional companies, collateral suppliers, travel planners, and logistics companies, and prioritize workload according to corporate goals and objectives.
- Coordinate Rheem Ambassador program, and collaborate with Executive, Product, Sales, Marketing, R&D, Plant, and Parts management teams to select personnel to best represent the organization at trade shows and events.
- Coordinate Rheem promotional apparel and products program as needed to support assigned events.
- Stays current on industry, competitor, and event-marketing trends, and administer new and effective programs, as well as internal process improvements.
- Is an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in marketing, organizational management, mass communications, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of well-rounded trade show and event coordination experience within an agency environment, and/or as part of a corporate marketing department with global responsibilities.
- Experience with trade show and events coordination.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Working knowledge of the event-management industry, including trade, national, and consumer event-marketing trends.
- Experience leveraging event-based assets as communications tools and displays knowledge of current trends and best practices.
- Track record of managing projects within cross-functional product-marketing environments.
- Manage and/or collaborate with a wide range of roles within an organization from different departments and from various business units across a global organization.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. An attentive listener who is able to accurately translate project expectations into actionable plans.
- Capable of managing expectations and working with internal/external customers to gather logical, functional project requirements that lead to impactful results.
- Enjoy working in a busy, deadline-driven environment.
- Superior organizational skills are required. Capable of simultaneously managing multiple projects. Mastery of detail management is essential in this multi-task work center.
- Work sample portfolio that demonstrates several major contributions to or leadership of a broad range of trade show and events projects.
