We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.POSITION SUMMARY:The Events Team Member will be responsible for a variety of duties dependent upon the need for the day, while providing participants, members and/or guests an excellent experience in every aspect.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Greet members and guests and provide information and way finding as neededAssist with selling membership packages and court rentalsProvide courteous and friendly first-in-class service to all members and guestsBe knowledgeable for guests on various matters such as transport, restaurant advice, etc.Have general knowledge regarding program options and facility eventsRecord waivers and event informationMaintain confidentiality and discretion with guest and Team Member informationBe responsive to guest concerns and direct to appropriate manager to resolveManage the inventory of the office supplies and reorder items as neededSetup and take down of event related itemsAssist during major events with event and parking operationsBecome proficient with membership and facility scheduling software platformsFollow all facility policies and proceduresEnsure correct equipment is available for all games and eventsMonitor play areas including turf and courtsKeep supervisor informed of issues and updatesComplete and file corresponding paperwork as necessaryAssist with daily maintenance and upkeep of department equipmentComplete special projects, daily assignments, and other duties as directed by managementTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:General sports and event knowledgeStrong eye for detail and safety complianceExperience operating an electric scoreboardA strong passion for servingProficient administration skillsProven ability to learn new software programsExperience and success in customer service, leadership, and organizationAction-oriented personality with a 'get it done' attitude and proficiency for efficiencyMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours) and regular attendance is necessaryExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenProficient computer skills with basic software platformsAbility to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentMust have excellent guest service skillsMust be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritizeAbility to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situationsMust be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, leaders and fellow team membersMust work well with othersMust take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facilityCommitment to the safety and wellbeing of othersMust be able to work independently in a busy environmentWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist highMay be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bendWill be required to operate a computerFacility has intermittent noise
