The Events & Volunteer Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of our two signature fundraising events each year, along with the recruitment and management of volunteers throughout the year. This position plays a vital role in promoting the mission and values of Coalition Life by ensuring the successful execution of events and fostering a culture of service among volunteers. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, a passion for Pro-Life ministry, and the ability to engage with donors, volunteers, and the community.
- Pray daily for the mission of Coalition Life.
Event Management
- Plan and coordinate the logistics of two major events annually, including prayer rallies and community outreach events.
- Develop and manage event budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee vendor relationships (e.g., caterers, venues, audiovisual teams) and secure contracts.
- Collaborate with leadership on event themes, marketing strategies, and programming.
- Track and report on event outcomes, including attendance, donor engagement, and fundraising targets.
Volunteer Management
- Recruit and coordinate volunteers for events and year-round activities.
- Develop a volunteer engagement plan to ensure retention and alignment with the organization's mission.
- Maintain a volunteer database, tracking hours and roles.
- Organize appreciation initiatives to recognize volunteers' contributions.
- Communicate regularly with volunteers to provide updates, schedules, and training.
Collaboration & Communication
- Serve as the liaison between staff, volunteers, donors, and external partners for event planning.
- Assist with marketing efforts, including social media, newsletters, and donor communications related to events.
- Provide regular reports to the leadership team on event progress and volunteer metrics.
Requirements At least 4-5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
