Job Description:
Include, but are not limited to:Responsible for cleaning slot machines including in between machines and bases, ash trays, trash cans, restrooms, offices, public areas, windows, restaurants, counter tops, furniture and any other decorative objects in the casino or common areas.
  • vacuuming/cleaning carpet
  • cleaning spills and removing any bio-hazardous materials
  • keep storage areas clean and carts well-stocked, clean and tidy
  • keep utility carts stocked with linens, towels, toiletries, and cleaning supplies
  • sweep, scrub, wax and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines
  • other duties as assigned
Working ConditionsThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those and employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodations.The work environment consists of very demanding surroundings with a high noise level. The employee is frequently exposed to second hand tobacco smoke, fumes or airborne particles.Machines, Tools, EquipmentSolid understanding of all cleaning equipment and use of related cleaning chemicals.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously walking and lifting/carrying up to 8 to 10 pounds.Frequent kneeling, bending, reaching above shoulder, pushing, pulling, and lifting/carrying two to five pounds.Occasional climbing, crawling, lifting/carrying 6 to 10 pounds and working in difficult positions.Rare sitting, standing, and lifting/carrying of over 60 lbs.Continuous use of dexterity and motor skills.Education / Training / ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent.
