DescriptionSUMMARY:Responsible for the daily cleanliness of the entire Casino and restrooms. Shall assist the Supervisors and EVSManager with supervision and operations of EVS team members and porter services.ESSENTIAL SKILLS,DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 100% hands-on duties and responsibilities. Ensures customer and satisfaction through prompt, efficient and friendly service. Monitors and oversee supply stock levels and assist Manager with ordering and inventory. Assist Supervisor/Manager with team member training. Ensure that operation of equipment, tools and materials is handled in a safe and efficient manner. Perform required inspections daily. Complete and submit inspection reports for review. Shampoos and vacuums carpets as needed. Take on additional task as assigned or needed during lowstaffing days. Coordinate preventive maintenance needs and housekeeping duties with Engineering and security team. Promotes a clean, safe and healthy work environment at all times for team members and guest. Report any damages, lost and found items and/or unusual occurrences immediately. Communicate with Supervisor on housekeeping needs, staff performance issues, repair requests, etc. Promote internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior. Adheres to and promotes compliance with applicable laws, safety and sanitation codes, team memberhandbook and department policies and procedures. Empty trashcans Cleans restrooms Mops floors Perform other related duties as assigned or directed.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English One year casino environmental services cleaning or Hotel EVS experience. Full knowledge of cleaning procedures, practices and chemical handling, supplies, equipment, and housekeeping operations may be substituted for below work experience. Knowledge of safety standards Must be flexible with being scheduled for day, swing or graveyard shift as needed. Nights, weekends and holidays as needed. Guest service experience Supervisory experience Basic computer skills with word, spreadsheets and database systems. Effective communication skills to read, follow written directions on safety/ warning labels; compute simple math equations, generate written reports and effectively communicate verbally-information, instruction and direction.EDUCATION: HiQh School Diploma or GED desired (but not required)LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background investigation, and maintain a Pauma Gaming Commission License.PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: (*Constantly, Frequently, Occasionally)
