Job Summary and Qualifications

We are looking for a compassionate and ambitious Environmental Services EVS Operating Room Aide to provide technical support to patients of all populations. Our team is amazing, we consider ourselves a family who work hard to support each other and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. • You will provide terminal cleaning of all the Operating Room suites including weekly floor care cleaning of PACU, SDS, and Recovery.
• You will move equipment as needed, properly disposing of many different waste streams, delivery linen, floor care, and any other activity to increase productivity in the EVS areas.
• Consider age-related factors in care of patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics

What qualifications you will need:

Previous hospital experience preferred. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Experience in an Operating Room cleaning or hospital cleaning preferred but not required.

Ability to maintain a mature, professional manner and demonstrate sound judgment when dealing with physicians, OR, PACU, SDS staff and all hospital personnel.
