The Division of Gastroenterology at BILH Lahey Hospital and Medical Center is currently seeking a Gastroenterologist to work at Winchester Hospital. As a physician at Winchester, you would be working exclusively in a community setting at our high-quality community affiliate (CMS star 5, Leapfrog Safety Grade A). The GI Division at Winchester will include both employed and private physicians and is also affiliated with LHMC, which is comprised of 25 physicians and 6 advanced practitioners, all committed to providing compassionate, high quality, patient focused care. Providers would see a wide variety of GI and liver related problems including inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, biliary tract disorders and diseases of the pancreas, colon cancer, and disorders of the esophagus. The Department offers a collegial and supportive environment in which providers feel their efforts are recognized and valued.
The physician would be a member of Winchester Physician Associate's, a member of the Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) System. WPA is an affiliated group of employed specialists that work exclusively at Winchester Hospital, a 200+ bed community hospital, four times designated Magnet Status. There is a separate ASC and Endoscopy Suite. The successful candidate will be BC/BE in gastroenterology. We welcome experienced Gastroenterologists and new grads to apply. Candidates must possess or be eligible for a Massachusetts license. The area provides urban and suburban living with multiple housing options and excellent public and private schools. You are a short driving distance to the shores and mountains of New England and the nearby cultural amenities of a first-class city in Boston. In March 2019, Lahey Health merged with four local hospital organizations (Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, New England Baptist, Mount Auburn, and Anna Jaques Hospitals) to form Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH).
