About Avalon Apparel: Avalon Apparel is a full-service women's apparel design house based in Los Angeles. We design and produce private label garments sold at some of America's largest retailers, including Nordstrom, Macy's, and Target. You might already own a garment that originally started as an Avalon design!

What We're Looking For: We're looking for an enthusiastic student who is eager to learn. We are looking for someone, preferably a Textile / Print Design major who is interested in learning the Print Design aspect in the Fashion industry.

Internship Responsibilities:

• Research on the newest trend
• Help with color matching and organizing the color library
• Organizing our existing print collection by category

Ideal Candidate:

• Must be located in Los Angeles
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
• Ability to draw and paint
• Textile design, Graphic design, or Art major

You Will learn:

• How the day-to-day of a textile designer would look like
• A Basic knowledge of print design world in the Fashion industry
• Color matching and how to prepare a file for printing
• Researching for new ideas
• Print Categories
