Hood Packaging is currently recruiting for an Executive Account Manager who will be responsible for managing customer accounts in an assigned territory as well as prospecting and developing new accounts. The Executive Account Manager will be required to bring all of the value of Hood Packaging to the marketplace with his/her broad knowledge of flexible packaging and the business. This position will also take responsibility to maximize the profitability of the business to Hood Packaging and remove barriers through exceptional service, quality, and innovation. Functional Responsibilities
- Prepare annual sales plan for the assigned territory
- Compile and complete yearly sales and expense forecasts;
- Develop & execute sales strategies.
- Identify and plan Target Account strategies.
- Monitor & investigate competitive activity and trends within territory.
- Conduct strategic account reviews, regularly.
- Monitor the territory's potential & determine the value of existing & potential customers to Hood.
- Identify accounts where revenue may be shrinking and formulate strategies to address this.
- Maintain prospect lists and leads using productive technology tools.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
- Prepare & submit weekly call reports, expense reports and monthly activity reports using productive technology.
- Utilize appropriate CRM tools in order to organize and communicate all selling activity.
- Assist the Sales and General Manager to maximize the profitability of the business in the assigned territory or customers.
- Proactively service customer accounts in order to achieve business goals around the service metric
- Remove barriers to entry prospects through creative and value added selling techniques and principles.
- Communicate appropriate suggestions to improve the business, tactics, products, and strategies
- Control sales expenses pursuant to company policies and management directives
- Assist with marketing activities as directed by management.
- Create & maximize barriers for our competition to entry to our customers & prospects.
- Develop technical skills to help with specific customer processes & products.
Functional Requirements
- Regular use of computers, telephones & misc office equipment
- Must organize complex tasks & meet deadlines.
- Must travel to meet customers; may travel to Hood sites.
- Driver's license required.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary graduate or equivalent experience in related field.
- Fundamentals of Selling course.
- 5-7 years sales experience in a related industry with 2-5 years in flexible packaging.

Work Environment
- Remote (Home office) - Must be located in Northeastern States of the US.
