Location
Our West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 111.
Job Summary
The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the Vice President of Fiscal Affairs. The Executive Assistant is the first point of contact for employees and visitors to the office of the Vice President of FA. This position is exposed to some of the University's most sensitive information, which requires the utmost confidentiality and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
* Serves as the primary point-of-contact for the Vice President's Office; provides information and assistance to callers and visitors.
* Oversees the day-to-day activities of the office; develops procedures and systems that ensure productive and efficient office operation.
* Manages calendars for the Vice President for Fiscal Affairs; coordinates and plans meetings, events, and conferences; makes travel arrangements
* Prepares agenda and compiles data for meetings; gathers information and prepares reports, questionnaires and other documents.
* Manages office databases; orders office supplies; maintains office files and records Coordinates maintenance of office equipment and orders supplies.
* Monitors budgets and prepares purchase requests.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3 to 5 years of experience as Administrative Support
1 year of experience using Microsoft office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with BANNER

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet)
* Knowledge of Banner system
* Knowledge of general office and University policies and procedures

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent customer service
* Proficient in preparing a variety of correspondences as well as regular and special reports.

* Ability to maintain confidentiality
* Ability to use office equipment as a computer, scanner, fax machine, and copier
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
