- Manage the Commissioner's schedule, including coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements while prioritizing appointments and engagements to optimize time and enhance relationship-building opportunities.
- Prepare materials for meetings and ensure timely follow-up on action items.
Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications.
- Draft correspondence, reports, and presentations on behalf of the Commissioner.
- Address inquiries and concerns from constituents with professionalism and empathy, ensuring a positive and responsive experience.
Project Coordination:
- Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of special projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with various departments and community stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
Research and Analysis:
- Conduct research on relevant issues, prepare briefs, and provide analysis to inform decision-making processes.
- Compile and summarize data for reports and presentations.
Public Engagement:
- Attend public meetings and events as needed, representing the Commissioner and providing support in community outreach efforts.

- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Communications, Political Science, or a related field from an accredited institution preferred.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a keen ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of building and maintaining effective relationships.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with communication and project management tools.
