Overview

The central role is to assist the Managing Partner on general executive assistant responsibilities and special projects, with a focus on building relationships with clients and, importantly, prospective clients. This is an opportunity to engage directly with prominent founders of private equity, real estate and infrastructure investment firms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop friendly relationships with clients and prospects when scheduling calls/meetings
  • Collaborating with Managing Partner and marketing team to develop new client prospects*
  • Initiating outbound emails/calls to schedule new client prospects with Partners*
  • Enter and maintain updated contacts and call notes in Microsoft Dynamics (the CRM)
  • Assist in organizing the Managing Partner's “To Do's” and project/task deadlines
  • Arranging travel, breakfast/lunch/dinner meetings, and entertainment (sports/shows, etc.)
  • Interface between Managing Partner and support staff to advance workflow operations
  • Point for external partnerships (bookkeeper/audit/tax, legal, and business partnerships)
  • Coordinating company events
  • Monitoring and ordering office supplies for presentations, copier, etc.
  • Manage to completion a variety of daily tasks, as requested

Outreach role*

An essential and highly value-added element of the position is to work with the Managing Partner and the firm's marketing team to develop a list of potential client prospect and dedicate a limited amount of time daily in emailing and calling the leaders of these firms and their assistants to schedule meetings with the Managing Partner. This outreach is tracked with thoughtful call notes in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Compensation beyond market standard executive assistant pay will be awarded for productivity in this key activity.
