Role and ResponsibilitiesExecutive assistant providing an array of corporate support and leadership functions for the Clinical Department.Essential Functions
- Maintain an environment within the Clinical Department that is characterized by excellent working relationships, good judgment, and continual quality improvement.
- Ensure that the operations of the Clinical Department are efficient and effective to meet the needs of its Directors, Management, Support Staff, and Professional / Paraprofessional Field Staff.
- Manage specific projects that meet budget, time, and quality objectives.
- Plan and coordinate all functions and events related to Clinical Operations.
- Act as a liaison for the Agency's Medical Director, business associates, contacts, and HCR employees, when appropriate.
- Manage and build new relationships with internal and external contacts, such that their needs and expectations are met.
- Assist Senior Leadership Team with special projects.
- Act as liaison with the NYS Department of Health, as instructed by DPS or Administrator.
- Prepare and maintain all Department of Health correspondence, including oversight of any corrective action indicated, under the direction of the Administrator.
- Assist the Home Health Aide Training Program staff with oversight and monitoring of program activities, under the direction of the Senior Director of Innovation and Education.
- Fulfill role of HPN Coordinator with the NYS Department of Health.
- Act as Recording Secretary for the Agency's Professional Advisory Committees.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate agency policies, procedures, and protocols under direction of the Clinical Leadership Team.
- Maintain Agency Complaint and Incident reports.
- Provide support to the Clinical Education Department.
- Provide support for the Agency's Quality Improvement initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
- Possess a working knowledge of the home care industry, regulatory and compliance requirements, and services and delivery programs.
- Knowledge of medical / clinical terminology.
- Advanced computer skills, with expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, primarily Excel and Power Point, and Lotus Notes scheduling feature.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Intellectual curiosity.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving and project management skills.
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to work flexible hours.
- Demonstrated track record of quality and excellence measured by references, quantifiable or identifiable outcomes, and accomplishments in prior work positions.
- Travel required.
Work Enviornment The Executive Assistant, Clinical Operations is primarily in an office setting and may be exposed to outdoor conditions.The working conditions are classified as sedentary work:
- Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
