BAE Systems, Inc. Space and Mission Sector is seeking an experienced administrative professional that is organized, collaborative, detail oriented with excellent communication skills to provide support to our VP of Finance, Director of Operations and Director of Accounting. This position will act as the administrative focal point for the VP & Directors and will be responsible for providing specialized administrative support for a variety of duties and tasks, as well as day-to-day coordination of busy schedules. In this role, you will work on assignments that are complex in nature where independent action and a high degree of initiative are required in resolving problems and developing recommendations. This role reports to the Finance Administrative Manager.

The Finance Strategic Capabilities Unit delivers the expertise and business acumen to increase value across the enterprise by providing actionable information with recommendations and opportunities to drive sustainable business growth.

**What You ll Do:**

+ Provide onsite administrative support to the VP of Finance, 2 Directors and fulfill various team requests.

+ Maintain busy calendars, arrange meetings, and make conference room reservations within Outlook and Microsoft Teams.

+ Demonstrate a capability to communicate and interpret the VP s decisions and views, while maintaining strong internal relationships with other administrative and department staff.

+ Plan and execute administrative projects within the office, demonstrating strong problem solving and priority setting competencies.

+ Develop documents in support of the VP and Finance staff. Draft correspondence and memoranda for the VP, as needed, maintain and track meeting action items through completion.

+ Execute employee moves, interviews, office supply orders, event planning, meeting support, pay invoices, assist with new hire employee onboarding and catering items.

+ Coordinate and plan all requested company travel and process respective expense reports staying within policy.

+ Greet outside visitors and coordinate security access for them.

+ Work with sensitive and confidential information and situations, requiring the employee to handle situations appropriately, and maintain proper confidentiality.

+ Serve as a role model, as well as a mentor, to junior-level employees by providing direction and acting as a resource to resolve questions and difficult situations in a collaborative environment.

+ Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.

+ Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

+ Perform other duties as necessary.

**On-Site Work Environment:** This position requires regular in-person engagement by working **on-site three or more days** each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.

**Working Conditions:**

+ Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**

+ High School diploma or equivalent plus 4 or more years of related experience.

+ Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Bachelor s or Master s, may substitute for two years of related experience. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.

+ Thorough knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and technologies.

+ Proven ability to perform a variety of clerical, secretarial, and administrative duties requiring initiative and exercise of independent judgment.

+ Solid organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.

+ Excellent written and presentation preparation skills.

+ Excellent computer skills including the MS Office suite.

+ Excellent calendar management skills coupled with the ability to prioritize.

+ Onsite 4 days a week, Monday-Thursday.

**Pay Information**

Full-Time Salary Range: $60390.000 - $96580.000

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
