Headquartered in New York City, WAW operates with a mission to provide essential services and advocate for gender equality, justice, and peace in Afghanistan. We are seeking a committed and skilled Executive Assistant to join our team and support our mission-driven work.
Position Overview: The Executive Assistant will provide crucial administrative support to our executive leadership team, and will report directly to the Executive Director, ensuring efficient operations and effective communication. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a passion for advancing womens rights globally.
Occasional travel may be required for community events in New York and Virginia. As WAW relocates its headquarters to Manhattan in 2025, in-person attendance at the new location will be necessary.
