Hodgson Russ LLP, a mid-size law firm with over two hundred attorneys across nine offices, is seeking a talented and intellectually curious individual to join our team as an Executive Assistant/Legal Secretary in our NYC office. In this role you will be providing comprehensive support to the Office Managing Partner and transactional attorneys. This dynamic position requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Our successful candidate will bring top notch verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills, a high level of computer literacy (including expert proficiency with Microsoft Office), and an understanding of the basics of business management or experience working in a law firm environment. He/she/they will act as right hand to the Managing Partner, able to handle a fast-paced and demanding set of administrative responsibilities including reporting, communications, meeting preparation, calendar management, and travel arrangements. These responsibilities will require a high level of tact, diplomacy, assertiveness, and tenacity. Minimum of five years of full-time experience as an executive assistant together with transactional experience in mergers & acquisitions, finance, and commercial real estate.Hodgson Russ offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefit package, including medical, dental, vision, life, long term disability, flexible spending, 401(k), Paid Time Off, pension plan, and more. At this time, the good faith estimate of the annual salary range for this position, if the successful applicant is based in New York City is $65,032 to $84,569.
