About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to serve a critical role in the Office of the President for CHANEL, Inc. In this role you will provide primary support to the President, CHANEL, Inc., giving you a broad understanding of our business, exposure to regional and international business leaders, and opportunities to influence at the highest level. As a key trusted partner to the President, you will be at the heart of the U.S. business with daily responsibilities such as agenda management, while also being able to display your creativity even more actively via management of key initiatives, projects, and other important workstreams that impact the Office of the President and the U.S. business.

What impact you can create at CHANEL:

Amplify your administrative skills by:

* Expense submission and reconciliation, travel planning, and agenda management

* Managing travel arrangements and creating detailed travel itineraries, including follow-up during executive travel to ensure coordination and support at all points

* Agenda Management: scheduling of all meetings, both internal and external. In this capacity, also serving as a trusted advisor to the President, understanding and leveraging business priorities to manage his office in a way that most efficient and effective

* Flexing your ability to be agile by getting ahead of last-minute changes

* Writing and coordinating timely business correspondence with excellent judgement and oftentimes with autonomy

* Preparing detailed reports using PowerPoint and Excel

* Preparing presentations using PowerPoint

* Be an active and integral part of key business change efforts, including Futures 2030, by supporting President as dotted line leader of the TLT, including cadence and coordination of meetings, prioritization of follow up steps, liaising with the Head of Strategy and Governance on key expectations.

* Take part in key leadership meetings, including periodic Management Committee meetings. Contribute to even stronger governance and constantly have an eye for improvement.

* Participate the work of the corporate Charitable Fund, which may include tracking and managing requests for funding by Steerco using agreed upon guidelines, scheduling Steerco meetings and taking minutes.

* Take the lead on special projects as assigned by the President

* Plan and manage key business outings and events on an ad hoc basis

What you will bring to the team:

* Ability to build relationships while being diplomatic and discreet with a professional presence

* Excellent computer skills especially with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, as well as the Teams platform

* A high level of self-reliance, resourcefulness, and ability to proactively challenge senior level executives, including the President, on matters of significance

* Diplomacy and discretion with a professional presence

* Proactive with strong organizational skills

* Excellent verbal and written communication,?French language skills a strong preference

Position Logistics:

* Minimum 12 years media management experience, ideally with luxury and/or best in class brands, resulting in deep knowledge of media industry; culture, social issues, or charitable organization experience a plus

* 4-year undergraduate degree

* Partially Remote: Role requires a minimum of three days in-person office presence at the designated location/office.

* Chanel, Inc. reserves the right to edit, change, or make exceptions on designations where circumstances where deemed appropriate.

Compensation:

* The anticipated base salary range for this position is $69,100 through $150,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay [may/will] be offered for this position. Other components [may/will] include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
