You will handle confidential information with discretion while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will foster collaboration with both internal teams and external stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft products, you will streamline processes and enhance productivity for those you support.You will report to the Chief Operations Officer, but will also provide support to other members of the Executive Team as applicable. At Watlow, you will have many opportunities, both formally and informally, to build and maintain the cross-functional knowledge and relationships that you need for a successful and rewarding career.You would be located at our St. Louis, MO Manufacturing Center of Excellence/ Advanced Development Center.Your Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will serve as a gatekeeper and liaison, managing schedules, organizing meetings, and performing various administrative tasks to enhance the effectiveness of the executives. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating, creating, and managing PowerPoint presentations for internal teams aligned with the executives.
- Organizing business strategy plans and leveraging technology, such as SharePoint, to facilitate the flow of information among the teams you support.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for creating communications, handling phone calls, and managing correspondence on behalf of the executives as needed.
- Arranging and organizing meetings, conferences, and events, including preparing agendas, coordinating logistics, creating slides, and taking notes when required. Minimal travel may be necessary.
- Addressing general day-to-day requests and managing special projects for the Executive Team and other senior leaders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, management or related field
- Proven experience as an executive assistant or similar role, preferably supporting C-suite executives or senior management
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally at various levels
- Expert user in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) focus in Excel and Powerpoint and other relevant software applications
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms and collaboration tools
- Basic/Intermediate experience using Power BI with desire to learn to become a proficient user
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks
- Strong problem solving and ability to anticipate needs and proactively address issues
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
