This role is an individual contributor but works closely with other Administrators on a variety of tasks related to the Director's professional schedule. The ideal candidate will have a positive outlook and see problems as opportunities to grow and expand the mission of the ministry. The Executive Assistant must operate collaboratively with other departments. Superb communicative skills are essential to this position's success. The Executive Assistant must possess a professional appearance, be confident, friendly and approachable with an impeccable and proactive work ethic. Excellent customer service skills are a must and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively without direction is imperative. Being able to excel in a fast-paced and changing environment will be keys to success in this role. Demonstrated intermediate-to-expert mastery of MS Office is required. Responsibilities
- Must be able to drive, motivate and execute tasks in a timely manner.
- Must possess the ability to take action, be a self-starter, and assist the Director in all areas.
- Attend all meetings (LLC, Dream Team, Conference and Events) and take notes, follow up with action items and keep processes moving along towards completion.
- Attend all Staff meetings, events, functions, conferences.
- Organize the Director's calendar to ensure there are no meetings or deadlines missed.
- Be available for travel in the place of the Director and represent the ministry to the highest standard.
- Assist with some weekend service events in place of the Director.
- Act as the single point of contact on matters related to the Director.
- Assists with hosting all ministry/church guests as well as any needed preparation and support from other departments.
- Must be able to prioritize a task list and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Expert in building rapport and communicating with internal and external customers.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills are required.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Flexible availability, i.e. mid-shift and weekends (primary schedule is M-F)
- Proficiency in operating all office equipment, i.e. Apple products, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in related field
- Up to date with advancements in office equipment and applications
- Project Coordination skills (basic)
