The assistant will manage schedules, coordinate meetings and events, handle correspondence, prepare reports, and communicate with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in office software. Experience in an academic or non-profit environment is preferred. The role requires discretion, initiative, and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.Primary Duties
- Handle all administrative details associated with presidential cabinet meetings (i.e. prepare and distribute notices, agendas, minutes, etc.).
- Maintain the President's email correspondence
- Maintain the President's calendar
- Run errands assigned by the President
- Other duties as assigned by the President
Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- A minimum of three years experience in an administrative position
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to present information concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to independently organize and prioritize work with little supervision
