If you consider yourself at the sweet spot between being a thorough, organized, detail-oriented person, but also a great people person, this could be the perfect position for you.TimelineApplications for this position will be closed Aug. 31, 2024.Position SummaryThe Executive Assistant to the President provides comprehensive administrative support to the President, ensuring efficient office operation. The assistant will manage schedules, coordinate meetings and events, handle correspondence, prepare reports, and communicate with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in office software. Experience in an academic or non-profit environment is preferred. The role requires discretion, initiative, and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.Primary Duties
  • Handle all administrative details associated with presidential cabinet meetings (i.e. prepare and distribute notices, agendas, minutes, etc.).
  • Maintain the President's email correspondence
  • Maintain the President's calendar
  • Run errands assigned by the President
  • Other duties as assigned by the President
Qualifications
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • A minimum of three years experience in an administrative position
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to present information concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to independently organize and prioritize work with little supervision
