Job Title: Executive Chef

Salary: $150,000 per year + relocation allowance

I'm currently looking to recruit a seasoned Executive Chef to join our client s exquisite restaurant in Florida. The ideal candidate will bring a Mediterranean flair to the restaurant s cuisine and is someone who excels in high-volume environments, with a distinguished history of working in Michelin-starred establishments, known for maintaining excellence and innovation over time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on menu planning and creation across all restaurants
- Innovate and design special dishes to enhance the guest experience
- Conduct menu costing and evaluation in partnership with the cost control team
- Oversee recipe development and accuracy, ensuring alignment with operational standards
- Train kitchen staff on new dishes and menu launches
- Regularly audit food quality and adherence to recipes
- Develop standard recipes and techniques to ensure quality and cost efficiency
- Assess food products to uphold quality standards and cost effectiveness
- Work with Food and Beverage and Operations management to exceed guest expectations
- Stay updated on the latest F&B market trends and implement them as needed
- Collaborate with various teams on menu descriptions, food matrix, and sourcing updates
Requirements:
- Expertise in Mediterranean cuisine
- Experience in Michelin-starred and high-volume restaurants
- Culinary degree (2 or 4-year) required
- At least 10 years of experience in kitchen management roles, preferably as Head or Executive Chef in high-volume settings
- Exceptional verbal communication and leadership skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in computer applications like Excel and Windows
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
