We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will combine exceptional culinary expertise with strong logistics, inventory management, and client interaction skills. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless kitchen operations, maintaining high-quality standards, and delivering outstanding dining experiences to clients. Please note, this is not a restaurant environment, it is a production kitchen environment servicing high end clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
Culinary Leadership:
- Develop and execute innovative menus aligned with the brands vision and client preferences.
- Maintain the highest culinary standards, focusing on presentation, flavor, and consistency.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to foster a productive and creative environment.
Logistics & Operations Management:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate the delivery and storage of ingredients, managing supply chain logistics to minimize waste and optimize cost.
- Plan and execute high end, fine dining menus servicing high net worth clients
Inventory & Ordering:
- Monitor inventory levels, conducting regular audits to maintain optimal stock.
- Establish relationships with suppliers, negotiating cost-effective pricing and ensuring timely deliveries.
- Implement inventory control systems to reduce waste and maximize profitability.
Client Interaction:
- Collaborate with clients to design custom menus, considering dietary restrictions and preferences
- Act as the culinary ambassador, engaging with clients to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction.
- Address and resolve client concerns promptly and professionally.
Strategic Planning & Financial Management:
- Manage kitchen budgets, including labor, food costs, and overhead.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
- Participate in long-term planning, contributing to the overall business strategy.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a senior culinary leadership role. Ideally coming from a fine dining background
- Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory management, and food safety standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective client and team interactions.
- Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
- Proficiency in kitchen management software and tools for inventory and scheduling.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in culinary arts or a related field.
- Experience in catering and event planning logistics.
- Familiarity with diverse cuisines and dietary restrictions.
