This position demands a proven track record in team management, budget oversight, and the ability to build strong partnerships both within the institution and with external stakeholders. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7-9 years of experience in alumni relations or a related field, with a focus on leadership and innovative programming. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively with diverse audiences, and a commitment to the core values of respect, inclusion, service, empathy, and excellence. The Executive Director will also be expected to contribute to the long-term strategies that enhance alumni engagement on a global scale and to work collaboratively as a key member of the Development and Alumni Relations leadership team. Experience in event management, particularly in the context of alumni and donor events, and the flexibility to work some evenings and weekends, as well as travel domestically and internationally, are essential for this position.
