Position Summary:?The Executive Director, Business Development will play a crucial role in growing our janitorial and restoration services business. This individual will lead initiatives to secure new clients, expand relationships, and promote specialty cleaning services. With a focus on building strategic partnerships, this role targets a diverse array of industries, ensuring seamless transitions to our operational teams upon acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to expand our footprint across targeted sectors, including Class A office spaces, manufacturing, warehousing, museums, medical and education.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders to secure placement on bid lists and successfully win contracts.
- Focus on growing the specialty cleaning segment, including medical janitorial services.
- Transition secured accounts to Area Managers for operational management, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Stay informed on industry trends to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Represent Midway at industry events, enhancing visibility and fostering partnerships.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven track record in business development, preferably in janitorial or restoration services.
- Experience working with a wide range of industries, including education, medical, or Class A commercial office spaces.
- Strong relationship-building skills with an ability to connect with key decision-makers.
- A strategic thinker with the ability to identify growth opportunities and execute plans effectively.
- Self-motivated and capable of working in a flexible, non-corporate environment with minimal supervision.
- Open to on-site presence in downtown Chicago for meetings and client engagements.
What We Offer:
Base Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 annually, plus commissions based on a sliding scale as costs are covered.
