The Bemidji Regional Interdistrict Council (BRIC) ISD 998, a large special education services cooperative serving 11 member Districts in Northern Minnesota, is seeking qualified applicants for the position Executive Director/Director of Special Education. The Executive Director/Director of Special Education serves as the Chief Administrator for the Cooperative and as the licensed Director of Special Education for the Member Districts. Oversight of operations includes the supervision and management of staff, resources and property along with oversight of the BRIC annual budget and authorization of daily expenditures. The BRIC Director reports to the BRIC Executive Committee which is comprised of the 11 Superintendents of the Member Districts. Applicants must hold or be eligible for a valid license as a Director of Special Education and Superintendent of Schools. Demonstrated 3 to 5 years of successful experience in special education and administration. MA/MS in special education and Ed.S. in educational administration required.
