This individual will be required to manage a business unit with responsibility for budgets and profitability. Has P&L responsibility. Plan, coordinate and manage the allocation of resources (e.g., people, equipment) to deliver timely results. May manage the development and implementation of general operating policies, processes and procedures for the organization and lead special projects in multiple areas.
Major Position Responsibilities
* Responsible for strategy and planning to align business operations with the company's mission and goals.
* Researches and analyzes industry and competitive trends to identify emerging market opportunities and strategic areas of interest.
* Identifies and prioritizes product and service improvement opportunities and creates plans for implementation.
* Develops complex forecasting models, budgets, resource allocations, plans for projects and oversees profit and loss alongside company initiatives.
* Utilizes comprehensive knowledge of company's internal operations to develop forward-looking focus for business.
* Owns short to mid-term (1-3 years) strategy execution and operational direction.
* Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & Senior Leadership.
Basic Qualifications
* Required Education and Experience: Associate degree and 12-15 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
* Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role
* Discipline/Major: Business degree preferred
* Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Experience in planning and budgeting. Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.). Strong analytical ability. Excellent communication skills. Outstanding organizational and leadership skills. Problem-solving aptitude
* Critical Professional Related Technical Skills; Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
