This role is based at our corporate office in Dallas, TXThis is your chance to be part of a Global Sales Team that ensures Hilton owners and operators receive the combined benefits of scale, access, competence, and experience.What will I be doing?As an Executive Director, Hilton Direct, you will support the team responsible for providing a differentiated selling platform for Hilton's diverse portfolio of brands by being relentlessly motivated to grow market share. On the Hilton Direct team reporting to the Vice President of Group Sales & Strategic Accounts, you will lead a dynamic sales team with the primary goal of sales generation for the enterprise.What your day-to-day will be like:Direct and lead the team to the successful achievement of key goals and measures.Cultivate a collective coaching and mentorship culture to drive performance and growth.Generate business leads for all Hilton Worldwide Domestic and International Hotels.Ensure consistent maintenance of sales activity and information records.How you will collaborate with others:Provide direct leadership on key performance initiatives for Hilton Direct in alignment with Hilton Worldwide Sales (HWS).Drive topline growth on behalf of key customers for the enterprise.You will set long-term goals that become the basis for annual operational planning to help drive performance.What initiatives you will take ownership of:Understand staffing needs and recruit, select, hire, and train a top-performing team.Develop sales talent to help build future talent for Hilton.Ensure Revenue Targets are achieved.Oversee departmental budgets, as assigned.What are we looking for?Success will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:Ability to resolve conflicts effectively and professionally.Tackles issues effectively and creatively while maintaining a high level of flexibility, professionalism, and integrity.Creative, insightful, and collaborative leader who brings entrepreneurial energy to existing and new business opportunities.To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:At least Eight (8) years of professional experience.Five (5) years of experience leading hotel or national sales teams.Strong understanding of all hotel segments; group, business travel, project extended stay, perm, leisure, and agency/travel partners.Travel up to 25%.It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:In-depth knowledge of Delphi fdc or similar property sales management systems.Experience using Salesforce (SFCM).BA/BS Bachelor's Degree.What is it like working for Hilton?Hilton is proud to support the mental and physical wellbeing of all Team Members so they can Thrive personally and professionally in a diverse and inclusive environment, thanks to our benefits such as the Go Hilton travel program, employee stock purchase program, and paid time off including parental leave.Hilton, the #1 World's Best Workplace, is a leading global hospitality company with a diverse portfolio of world-class brands.
