Position Overview: We seek a highly strategic and tactical Executive Director to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in developing and implementing fundraising programs, including government grants, membership drives, and corporate sponsorships. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Director will be a right-hand person, contributing to the organization's growth and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Global Ambassador Program:
- Oversee the Global Ambassador Program, ensuring effective recruitment, training, and support of ambassadors.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand the program's reach and impact.
- Foster a strong community among ambassadors, encouraging collaboration and sharing of best practices.
- Ensure hands-on involvement in program development and fundraising at the government level and through membership and sponsorship initiatives.
Team Oversight:
- Oversee all team members, including outside contractors, volunteers, and interns.
- Provide leadership, support, and professional development opportunities for the team.
- Ensure effective collaboration and communication among all team members.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture.
Strategic Partnerships:
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with organizations and corporations aligned with our mission and goals.
- Negotiate and manage partnership agreements, ensuring mutual benefits and long-term sustainability.
- Represent the organization at key industry events, conferences, and meetings to build and strengthen relationships.
Fundraising:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support programs and initiatives.
- Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, including grants, sponsorships, and individual donations.
- Manage donor relationships, ensuring timely communication, reporting, and recognition.
- Collaborate with the founder on significant fundraising campaigns and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in nonprofit management, with a focus on program development, fundraising, and partnership management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated success in fundraising and resource development.
- Passion for women's entrepreneurship and commitment to our mission.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- A few years of consulting experience is preferred.
