Description

The Board seeks an Executive Director with experience in leadership/management in academic institutions (preferred) to direct and oversee all business operations, functions, and activities. In addition to staff management and oversight, this position represents the organization in professional and conference settings. In consultation with the Board, the Executive Director is responsible for providing vision and strategic direction for the organization. IERF provides a comprehensive benefit package and salary commensurate with experience.

Duties

  • Collaborate with the Board of Directors to implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Recruit and develop a team of employees to lead critical departments and manage important business functions.
  • Monitor IERF operations and ensure that business practices comply with regulatory and legal requirements. Maintain high quality and accurate service at or above industry standards.
  • Develop the organizational culture and promote transparency and collaboration throughout the organization.
  • Develop partnerships with university and licensure stakeholders and other relevant parties.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities within the organization and its environment to protect business interests.
  • Represent IERF at professional and academic conferences and other events to continue to strengthen IERF's reputation.
  • Qualifications/Experience

  • Experience managing budgets and maintaining cost control.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Commitment to the mission and goals of the organization.
  • Master's degree in relevant field.
  • Experience in the field of international education and evaluation (preferred).
  • IERF provides a comprehensive benefit package and salary range beginning $170K commensurate with experience.
