About Us

The New Hampshire College & University Council (NHCUC) and Education Alliance for New Hampshire (formerly Campus Compact for NH) are dynamic consortia dedicated to advancing the cause of higher education across our state. Since 1966, NHCUC has been at the forefront of fostering collaborations among New Hampshire's diverse higher education institutions, including public, private, two-year, and four-year colleges. Established in 1997, Campus Compact for New Hampshire (now rebranded as Education Alliance for NH) has promoted civic engagement and community service in higher education, emphasizing access and student success. Together, we are working towards a vibrant future, including a rebranding initiative to enhance our impact and reach.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary and inspiring leader to serve as the President & CEO of NHCUC and Executive Director of the newly rebranded Education Alliance for NH. This dual role, created in 2019, integrates the leadership of both organizations to enhance strategic alignment and operational synergy. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors and NHCUC/Education Alliance Executive Committee, you will lead key initiatives, drive organizational growth, and champion our mission statewide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement strategic goals in alignment with our mission to advance education and civic responsibility.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting to ensure long-term financial health.
  • Develop innovative funding strategies to secure growth and sustainability.
  • Elevate our public profile through media, public relations, and strategic communications.
  • Lead, mentor, and empower a high-performing team to support our mission.
  • Foster partnerships with government, corporate, and community stakeholders.
  • Advocate for the importance of higher education in New Hampshire, engaging in legislative and policy activities.

Who You Are:

  • An experienced leader with at least 10 years in senior management and an advanced degree.
  • Proven track record of driving change and growth in outcome-focused organizations, preferably in higher education.
  • A trusted professional known for discretion and integrity when handling sensitive information.
  • Committed to quality, with demonstrated experience in data-driven program management and evaluation.
  • A skilled communicator and relationship builder, able to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Adaptable and entrepreneurial, with a forward-thinking vision for growth and innovation.
  • Passionate about education and civic engagement, driven by integrity and a dedication to impactful change.
