Since its founding in 1994, Silent Spring has been an advocate for the development of safer chemicals, market shifts away from toxic chemicals in products, and more health-protective regulatory policies. With the recently announced retirement of Silent Spring's distinguished leader, Dr. Julia Brody, Silent Spring seeks as its next Executive Director, an accomplished and strategic scientific leader to collaboratively develop and implement a vision for the organization's next chapter.The new ED will champion the pioneering work of Silent Spring, be an active listener, relationship-builder, and creative problem-solver, and will have demonstrated organizational leadership and management skills.
