EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR – ARTSBRIDGE FOUNDATION

Atlanta, Georgia

ArtsBridge Foundation is seeking an Executive Director to lead our mission of empowering the next generation through the arts. If you're passionate about making a difference and have a strong background in fundraising, grant writing, and strategic planning, we want to hear from you. The Foundation Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, which includes donor relations, financial management, program management, marketing, and community outreach. ArtsBridge is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides high-quality regional, national, and international arts education programs that impact Georgia's Pre-K to 12th grade students with transformative experiences at the world-class Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. Programs include field trips, professional development workshops, and the six-time Southeast Emmy Award-winning Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards. Since 2007, ArtsBridge has impacted the lives of nearly 425,000 students in 70 Georgia counties with arts education experiences.

The Executive Director is responsible for providing leadership for the ArtsBridge Foundation and for the management of all programs, activities, and staff of the organization. This includes office administration, fundraising efforts (including major donor programs, grant writing, grant administration, and capital campaigns), planning and managing organizational finances and budgets, supervising staff, maintaining effective and timely reporting and communication with the Board of Directors, fiscal oversight, and monthly scheduling and preparation for board meetings. The position reports to the General Manager/CEO of the Cobb-Marietta Coliseum & Exhibit Hall Authority.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Significant and proven leadership skills developed through 10 years in management positions.
  • Experience in planning and executing a major fundraising campaign including donor identification, education, and solicitation
  • Excellent organizational, strategic planning, fundraising/development, interpersonal, marketing communication, and administration skills.
  • Proven track record of successful fundraising through grants and foundations
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams, work groups, and partners.
  • Effective oral and written communication, including effective negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
