Position OverviewThe Executive Director leads all aspects of assisted living and memory support operations, revenue generation, staff development, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, safety, etc. The Executive Director creates a culture of hospitality that focusses on the satisfaction of our residents, their families, and our team members.ResponsibilitiesOperations Management:
- Oversee all aspects of community operations including monthly revenue goals, labor requirements, P&L management, and service delivery.
- Inform financial management decision-making in conjunction with operational budget and capital planning.
- Manage recruitment and retention strategies for all staffing positions in conjunction with Elegance recruitment support. Includes all hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of staff.
- Understand any capital needs for the building and verify that all preventative maintenance is scheduled and completed as required.
Sales Strategy:
- Collaborate with Director of Sales and Marketing in the development, execution, and evaluation of all sales strategies consistent with the community's quarterly sales and marketing plan.
- Understand the competitive landscape, including current market pricing and other relevant competitive metrics.
- Engage in internal and external outreach with community leadership and business partners.
Wellness and Engagement:
- Work in partnership with the Director of Health and Wellness to continually evaluate and address any resident care needs.
- Monitor culinary program to maintain high standards in food quality, menu development and fulfillment of all nutritional and dietary requirements.
- Oversee resident engagement in all settings, approving and evaluating calendar adherence and attendance of activities.
Performance Communication:
- Continually evaluate and communicate performance with community leadership and team members.
- Regularly communicate performance with Elegance Support Center and functional leadership.
- Maintain consistent communication with residents, families, and all community stakeholders.
Compliance and Quality:
- Stay in compliance with Elegance internal policies and procedures as well as all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Sustain a safe environment for all residents and staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years' experience operating Assisted Living, Memory Support, or Independent Living community as Executive Director/Assisted Living Administrator.
- Proven track record of successfully leading teams and achieving operational excellence.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets. Experienced with Microsoft Suite of products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.).
- Proficient in utilization and adaptation of relevant technology and business systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Salary Range$145,000 plus bonus plan.Benefits:
