And we help individuals and companies grow with these concepts at the forefront.The Stamford Partnership has been historically funded by The City of Stamford, Board Member Contributions, State of Connecticut departments and programs, CT Next, and event and program sponsorships and fees.The OpportunityThe Executive Director is the leader of the organization, establishes and leads, with counsel from the Board, the vision, mission, and values for the organization and executes both as an individual contributor and leader.Duties/Responsibilities:Works with the board of directors to establish goals, objectives, and related plans and policies, and procedures.Responsible for raising the profile of the organization, fundraising, and prudently growing the membership base.Creates and launches committees, coalitions, programs, and initiatives to serve the organization's mission and goals.Establishes, monitors, and reports organizational impact metrics.Leads or produces the regular reporting on the status of the organization's operations and finances.Oversees the organization's financial structure, ensuring adequate and sound funding for the mission and goals of the organization.Reviews the financial results of all operations and actively manages the finances of the organization through income and cost control.Ensures the company's compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards.Serves as the company's representative to the board of directors, stakeholders, employees, sponsors, the government, and the public.Responsible for fostering a positive relationship and strong partnerships with the community.Performs other related duties as needed to benefit the mission of the organization.Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent managerial and financial skills and the ability to take leadership over any and all business operations.Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate as a leader and in a fundraising capacity.Thorough understanding of management and financial practices in all areas and phases of the organization's operations.Experience in the field of workforce development is a plus.Education and Experience:Prior public or relevant private sector leadership experience is required.Compensation:Commensurate with experience and market standards.Benefits:A payment in lieu of benefits is offered.20 days of paid personal time off.Flexible schedule.Paid time off.Schedule:8 hour shift.Monday to Friday.Ability to Commute:Stamford, CT 06901 (Required).Ability to Relocate:Stamford, CT 06901: Relocate before starting work (Required).Willingness to travel:25% (Preferred).Work Location: In person#J-18808-Ljbffr
