  • The Executive Director (ED) is the key management leader for the facility. The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the administration, programs, and strategic plan of the organization.
  • Under the immediate supervision of the Regional Director of Operations, the Executive Director is responsible for fiscal management that generally anticipates operating within the approved budget, ensures maximum resource utilization, and maintenance of the organization in a positive financial position.

Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 3-5 years senior management experience required
  • The ability to prioritize and multi-task, with exceptional time management skills. Ability to competently encourage and inspire direct reports in the delivery of stellar clinical services through professionalism.
  • Scheduling flexibility REQUIRED to accommodate varied client admissions.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and provide own insured transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Approves facility expenditures and reviews account payables reports.
  • Reviews monthly budget, expense and prepares variance reports.
  • Maintains petty cash and accurate accounting of cash expenditures.
  • Oversees accurate census recording and payor source information for billing purposes.
  • Monitors recruiting activities at the facility level to ensure candidates are qualified and meets current staffing needs.
  • Adheres to corporate HR policies and procedures.
  • Monitors labor hours, overtime, and staffing ratios based on census.
  • Reviews and approves payroll reporting records. Supports staff education and participation in orientation and ongoing training.
  • Ensures employee performance and competency reviews are completed in a timely manner and corrective action plans are developed as needed.
  • Exemplifies professional boundaries, appearance, demeanor, and effective communication.
  • Monitors provision and documentation of care, treatment, and services, including EMR audits and validation activities.
  • Acknowledges client concerns and suggestions.
  • Reviews client satisfaction data and utilizes information for organization performance improvement.
  • Ensures admission and discharge (graduation, administrative, AMA) policies and procedures are followed.
  • Ensures care, treatment, and services provided are within the scope of facility licensure, certification, and accreditation.
  • Follows facility-wide infection control practices.
  • Monitors client, staff, and visitor incident reports for injury or illness required reporting and follow up
  • Adheres to employee injury and illness reporting requirements.
  • Ensures medication management practices meet professional standards.
  • Creates and maintains a safe environment for clients, staff, and visitors.
  • Maintains adherence to HIPAA compliance in ALL communication regarding clients.
  • Has working knowledge of state and federal laws in compliance.
  • Has working knowledge of Joint Commission Requirements
  • Follows all Corporate, regulatory, and accrediting body reporting requirements.
  • Oversees the environment of care management plans in the areas of safety, fire safety, security, utilities, medical equipment, and hazardous waste and materials.
  • Schedules and holds accountable outside vendors who provide ongoing maintenance and repairs.
  • Reports capital improvement and expense needs to corporate office in a timely manner.
  • Maintains information technology networks and devices in working order and notifies corporate IT in a timely manner of any disruption in service.
  • Protects and maintains company assets in good working order.
Compensation: $75,000-$95,000/yr
