Hybrid PositionLocation: Philadelphia, PAPosition Summary: Leads, trains, supervises, and monitors day-today activity of all Career Services personnel at all campus locations. Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and implement strategies that result in achievement of graduate employment goals. This position is directly responsible for ensuring that graduates are employed in their field of study as established by the requirements of our institutional and programmatic accreditors. The Executive Director will also implement strategies that build our alumni network. This position is a hybrid position; the Executive Director of Career Services will work on-site at the Hussian College campus in Philadelphia, PA 2-3 days per week and work remotely the remainder of the week. Must also have the ability to occasionally travel to Hussian's other campus locations as dictated by business needs.Education: Bachelor's degree in business or other related field required.Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of prior leadership experience.
- Prior experience working at a career college or school preferred.
- Regional, multi-campus, and/or corporate leadership experience preferred.
Position Responsibilities:
- Coordinates all activities related to securing employment for graduates. This includes but is not limited to:
- Collaborate with Academics to monitor student progress and develop appropriate plans to ensure preparation for graduate employment
- Completion of all required documentation and verification related to graduate employment
- Compliance with all state, federal, accreditation, and organizational requirements
- Deployment, compilation, and analysis of graduate and employer surveys
- Planning and implementation of Career Fairs, employer visits, resume workshops, and mock interviews
- Collaborate with Accreditation & Compliance department to complete all state, federal, and accreditation reports
- Develop employer partnerships and job opportunities for graduates
- Collaborate with Academics on appropriate aspects of student internships, including achievement of internship-to-hire targets
- Hire, train, coach, and develop Career Services staff
- Provide leadership and direction for the strategic and day-to-day operations and performance of Career Services function and staff
- Create, monitor and disseminate reports related to Career Services
- Develop and implement an alumni affairs program that strategically engages alumni
