Involves appropriate personnel in planning, implementing, and monitoring academic, career education, and related academic services. Serves as member of the Agency's Executive Leadership Team with high levels of accountability and decision-making responsibilities. Works collaboratively within the Leadership Team to guide the agency's vision, mission, and strategic goals. Supervises the schools' principals, coordinator of teacher quality and curriculum, director of special education, and the data and special projects manager. Oversees the implementation of educational mandates and development of comprehensive, current, compliant, and effective instructional programs across departments. Assist in the development and monitoring the Agency Strategic Plan, Accountability Report, and accreditation efforts. Minimum and Additional Requirements Master's degree or higher in education administration from an accredited college. Education Specialist degree or higher preferred. Minimum of four (4) years in administration and three years teaching experience. Must be eligible for certification as a principal from the SC Department of Education. This position may require communication modalities dependent on employment placement.
