Job Type Full-timeDescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Exc. The Director of Housekeeping will oversee the efficient operations of our housekeeping department by Avion standards. The Director of Housekeeping will be responsible for leading the entire Housekeeping Department, covering rooms, front/back of house, public areas, and laundry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.Responsibilities:- Oversee the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department, ensuring that all areas are cleaned and maintained to Avion standards.- Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.- Manage and train housekeeping staff, ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties to the highest standard.- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of housekeeping supplies and equipment.- Ensure that all housekeeping equipment is properly maintained and serviced.- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that guest needs are met and exceeded.- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained.- Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure that the Housekeeping Department has access to the best products and services.Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in housekeeping management.- Strong leadership and communication skills.- Excellent organizational and time management skills.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.- Knowledge of housekeeping equipment and supplies.- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.If you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as Director of Housekeeping.
