- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- A minimum of six (6) years of experience in business management and operations to achieve organizational goals plus two (2) years of supervisory/management experience.
- The ability to demonstrate an understanding of how acquired experience is relevant to the higher education context.
- Strong understanding of workforce development needs across sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with executive-level employers.
- Expertise to link workplace continuing education needs to University noncredit program development.
- Keen business mind with an understanding of how to create and manage multiple diverse revenue streams.
- Ability to integrate technology with administrative functions.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.Desired Qualifications:
- Five (5) years or more of administrative experience in higher education.
- Experience in collaborating with academic units to develop continuing education offerings based on market trends and strategies for attracting and retaining continuing education students.
- Understanding of current trends and future directions in continuing and professional education.
- Track record of creating, growing, and managing high-enrollment and revenue generating noncredit programs that meet the needs of adult learners.
- Knowledge of and implementation of registration platforms.
- Knowledge of and experience with the Banner and Moodle platforms.
- Experience with online delivery of course materials.
- Experience in non-credit program development, both in-seat and online, with multiple campus units and corporate clients.
