Role Description
As the IT Senior Portfolio/Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing strategic programs. Overseeing project objectives, scope, and deliverables, identifying risks and dependencies, and oversee the development of projects / programs, sometimes enterprise wide
The role will be responsible to oversee the Core Technology Portfolio, to provide Portfolio/Program leadership and direction to ensure governance, including policies, controls, standards, and procedures, are in place and executing against a Technology transformation roadmap.
Responsible for overseeing and managing technology programs throughout their lifecycle. This includes defining program objectives, scope, and deliverables, identifying risks and dependencies, and developing comprehensive program plans.
Lead cross-functional project teams, manage resources and budgets, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Additionally, collaborate with stakeholders to align projects with business goals, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain effective communication and reporting.
This is a critical role in driving successful technology implementations that support the AD group companies objectives and enhance operational efficiency. This is not a regional AD role, but will collaborate with his/her peers in a similar position across other AD Group companies
Qualifications and Skills
10-15 years of IT Program/Portfolio/Change Management experience preferably in financial services environment
Experience in project resourcing and capacity models, projects budgeting and forecasting
Excellent understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Change management experience is a strong plus.
Take initiative and provide leadership with recommendations in improving processes and change management.
Experience working and effectively collaborating with cross-functional IT teams and business units.
Strong knowledge and Expertise in working with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management including Demand management, Program Management, JIRA
Capability dealing with conflicting priorities/ability to customize the info in a way suited for the audience (some junior, some pretty senior.
