The overall objective and purpose of the Executive Housekeeper are to direct the daily operations of Housekeeping and Laundry to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive conditions of the hotel. The incumbent is responsible for completing inspections and holds Grand Performers accountable for high cleanliness standards, as well as ensuring guest and Grand Performer satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget. They are to provide inspiring and strategic leadership while directing the activities of the Housekeeping Department in support of the mission, core values, standards, and goals established by the company.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to the following:
* Oversee the operations of the Housekeeping department, ensuring the implementation and execution of KQA and BSA standards
* Provide hands-on training and continuous coaching to subordinates, supervising and directing the execution of service-related tasks to ensure the efficient and professional operation of the Housekeeping department
* Plans work schedules to ensure adequate service
* Inspects and evaluates the physical condition of all areas of the hotel. Submits to management recommendations for painting, repairs, furnishings, relocation of equipment, and reallocation of space.
* Periodically inventories supplies and equipment
* Investigates new and improved cleaning instruments and methods
* Supports and supervisors an effective inspection program for all guestrooms and public space
* Responsible for the department budget and expense control.
* Conduct monthly meetings with subordinates to proactively solve problems, respond to questions and create a positive productive work environment
* Train, mentor, and develop Grand Performers to the standards of a world-class property and intuitive service experience. Assist in developing leaders and bench strength through the implementation of the Job Coach program
* Have a thorough knowledge of the product, including room types, amenities, services, and brand standards

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in Business or related training equivalent - required
* 3+ years of relevant work experience in similar scope and title - required
* Experience within luxury brand/markets - required
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervisory and leadership responsibilities include achieving results through providing direction and accountability of the following Grand Performers within the culture and policies established by the Kessler Collection.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 annually.
