  • Drive and oversee the production of several interactive games and experiences based on Disney's robust portfolio of characters and worlds including Disney/Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars.
  • Build a new team of developers, working with the rest of the leadership team to deliver internal development capabilities.
  • Engage with internal and external partners, including other production leaders, to plan, coordinate, and track development across the entire experience.
  • Orchestrate a large-scale project composed of various parts into a unified production stream.
  • Set and maintain the standards for production assets including content designs and roadmaps, schedules, staffing plans, and budgets, ensuring that they are well-structured and realistic, and serve the overall project.
  • Champion the production vision for the project with internal and external partners.

  • Possess a broad and deep understanding of the art and science of high-quality game development, including familiarity with various methodologies, tools, and how to structure production to support a team's strengths and workflow.
  • Have successfully built or expanded a production team with the best hand-selected talent to take on a new concept.
  • Excel at partnering and collaborating with key stakeholders - building strong relationships, working through challenging problems, and reaching consensus to achieve great things.
  • Led the creation and release of a successful AAA live-operated game in a senior production role and have familiarity with producing products on various gaming platforms.
  • Have experience working with external or co-development studios to deliver content.
  • Understand how to guide senior production leads while also giving them room for ownership and growing their talent.
  • Inspire passion and creativity in others with motivational and supportive leadership.
  • Enjoy creative problem-solving, working through unique development challenges, and building something new and innovative.
  • Steer teams by digesting the competing needs of a complex game project and identifying the highest priority areas the team should focus on.

  • Can synthesize complex development streams into crisp visualizations that provide clarity on status, progress, and future plans.

  • Know how to push past perceived boundaries and limitations never losing sight of the big picture and ultimate goal.During your game development career, the key requirements you have achieved include---
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 15+ years of experience specifically in product development/production of Console/Mobile/PC games or other entertainment.
  • 5+ years of experience managing teams.
  • Shipping multiple mobile, console, and/or PC games with live operations components.The hiring range for this position in Anaheim, CA is $171,500 to $264,500.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered. #J-18808-Ljbffr
