Search Associates oversee the complete recruitment process, encompassing sourcing, interviewing, prepping, debriefing, negotiating offers, and finalizing deals. This role involves cultivating a pipeline of highly placeable candidates and establishing a network of exceptional talent within the North American Corrugated Packaging industry, laying the foundation for a successful career in recruiting.

About This Role:

This role requires excellent communication skills as well as building trust and maintaining relationships with our candidates. The Search Associate will be responsible for generating, qualifying, and maintaining Candidate relationships to achieve and maintain weekly personal metrics and billing goals. Candidates will be generated through direct cold calls and utilizing the company's digital platforms, so being comfortable on the phone is a must! Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or Psychology preferred but not required
  • Proven success in Sales or Recruiting, comfortable with KPIs, sales quotas, and a commission-based role, or fresh college grad with a solid sales internship who is interested in transitioning into a Recruiter role.
  • Achievements in cold calling and effectively turning passive prospects into engaged ones.
  • Proven proficiency in prospecting, nurturing, follow-up, and successfully closing deals.
  • A determined drive to succeed and a fiercely competitive attitude, coupled with a readiness to put in the effort.
  • Efficient workflow management - proficiency in utilizing systems and tools to streamline daily operations and processes, enabling peak performance.
  • Client-focused mindset, positive demeanor, strong financial drive, adaptability, and a passion for making a difference while enjoying the process.
  • Prior agency recruiting or sales experience is a plus.

Training and Preparation:

You do not need to have industry experience to do well as a Search Associate - all you need is grit and a “won't fail” attitude. O&A provides thorough training to get you up to speed so you can hit the ground running, you just need the motor! We provide weekly training sessions and one-on-one feedback to ensure you have all the tools you need to become and remain successful in the recruiting industry.

Requirements:

- Familiarity and comfortability with networking and conversion optimization via the phone

- Some knowledge of job search engines and online sourcing techniques

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both written and verbal communications

- Ability to build relationships with clients and candidates at all levels

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

- Some knowledge of using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools

- Competitive nature and strong, forward-thinking mindset

- A four-year college degree or equivalent work experience preferred

- Ability to work/maintain onsite office hours (8:30 am-5:30 pm in North Dallas)
