Position Summary:
Xylem currently seeks an Executive Sales Representative for our North Texas territory. Ideally the candidate should be located in the DFW Metroplex, East Texas, North Louisiana or surrounding area. This position supports service account management and water treatment sales to the Heavy Industry (HI) market to include but not limited to power plants HPI/CPI pulp and paper mining primary metals and food.
The North Texas territory includes North Texas, East Texas, North Louisiana and Arkansas.
+ Sells products services and solutions to customers and acts as point of contact post-sale focusing on ongoing customer satisfaction retention and growing business year over year.
+ Maintains relationships with accounts by visiting customer sites within assigned territory defined by geographic area industry or product/service segment.
+ In addition to face-to-face meetings engage with customers in a variety of mediums to close sales and support clients.
+ Responds to client inquiries and offers bold recommendations on appropriate products and solutions.
+ Responsible for advancing opportunities through the sales stages in CRM along with being accountable for CRM data used for forecasting and SIOP.
+ Must work with a sense of urgency to execute sales strategy generate sales reports and identify opportunities to increase sales volume while ensuring service levels are met.
Core Responsibilities and Tasks:
+ Contacts both new and existing customers to sell new and recurring business
+ Creates and delivers quotes and proposals to deliver to customers
+ Ensures customer satisfaction and retention
+ Accurately records information in CRM for forecasting
+ Continues to stay up to date on company and customer technology to remain a trusted partner
+ Conducts Sales Presentations and Product Demos Facilitates new customer engagements (Webinars Lunch & Learns Trade Shows etc.)
+ Extremely complex sales of products and services; utilizes strong knowledge of products services and industry to evaluate and recommend best solutions to customers
+ Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
FORMAL EDUCATION:
Required:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ 4-7 years of experience
+ Preferred: BA/BS
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
+ Strong communication skills Intra-departmental communication for purpose of alignment/information sharing
+ Mastery of sales techniques and an expert of company offerings
+ Deep knowledge within a particular product line or vertical market
+ Comprehensive knowledge and demonstrated ability to engage in collaborative selling
+ Must have an acceptable driving record to be insurable to drive for company business
+ Basic understanding of ERP and CRM systems
+ Fluency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook Word Excel)

+ TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 30% to 60%

$91,500.00 - $164,500.00
