The team behind Eleven Madison Park, led by three Michelin star chef Daniel Humm, is looking for an experienced **Executive Sous Chef** to run the operations of their newly established **commissary kitchen**. This kitchen will serve an exciting new project in the works from the worlds best restaurant. We are looking for a passionate and experiencedperson to inspire, lead, and manage our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, well organized and has a commitment to excellence. **Overview of Responsibilities:**

* Work with the Executive Chef on menu planning recipe development.

* Coordinate with our network of purveyors to ensure availability and menu planning.

* Oversee the production, packaging of all food items.

* Ensure quality control across all products.

* Hire, train and discipline hourly and management staff.

* Aid in the development of new recipes and products.

* Work with our non-profit partner to further pursue our efforts to end food insecurity.

* Control food and labor costs.

* Determine standard operating procedures for the products of new products.

* Align with the marketing team for new product launches.

**Requirements for Success:**

* Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

* Ability to lead a team

* Ability to set goals and meet deadlines.

* Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook

* Capability to teach and mentor others

* Experience with a variety of cooking styles and techniques

* Ability to adapt and make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment

* Michelin-star restaurant experience required

* 3+ years management experience required
