- The ESA positions supporting Regional Secretary's Directors may be headquarted within the following counties: Oneida, Washburn, Dane, Brown, Eau Claire, and Milwaukee.
- The ESA position supporting the Forestry Division may be headquartered at any available DNR office throughout the State.

Position Summary These positions will provide independent, confidential administrative support to executive-level management and staff, such as secretary's directors (SDs), field integration leaders (FILs), division administrator and other leadership, complex cross-division/program project teams, etc.Full position descriptions:

- Executive Staff Assistant supporting Forestry Division
Salary Information These positions are in schedule-range 81-04 with a starting pay of $27.00 - $31.00 per hour, based on qualifications. The positions are not represented by a collective bargaining unit. A 12-month probationary period may be required. Pay for state employees will be set in accordance with the State Compensation Plan.

- Experience providing administrative support (e.g., scheduling logistics, meeting documentation, records management, follow-up with staff, travel arrangements, etc.) to executive-level management.
- Experience working with confidential and/or sensitive information (e.g., controversial policies/issues, personnel issues, projects, media visibility, legislative contacts, public inquiries, etc.).
- Experience communicating with both internal and external stakeholders.
In addition, highly qualified candidates will have one or more of the following:
- Experience working with administrative procedures and systems related to enterprise-wide Human Resources and/or Procurement Systems (e.g., Peoplesoft, WisBuy, State procurement activities, etc.).
- Experience providing administrative support (e.g., scheduling logistics, meeting documentation, records management, follow-up with staff, travel arrangements, etc.) to executive-level management in the public sector.
- Experience coordinating and supporting multi-discipline teams responsible for complex projects (e.g., lasting more than 6 months, impacting stakeholders of 150 or more individuals, contentious nature, social economic issues, community engagement needs, elected officials, etc.).
- Experience coordinating and supporting teams responsible for planning complex special events (e.g., agendas, availability of speakers, contingency planning, insurance contracts, specialist needs planning, transportation contracts, IT coordination, etc.).
