Your Team Responsibilities The Executive Technical Support Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless technology experiences for top-tier executives within MSCI. This position demands a unique blend of technical proficiency, discretion, and interpersonal skills to address the specific and often complex IT needs of senior leadership. This includes design, engineering, administration, operating intune & configuration management, Virtual technology infrastructure. The role is also key to maintain enterprise stability, performance and ultimately exploration of new technologies that can improve MSCI user's productivity and experience, and yet maintain the safety and compliance of our end point devices. Your Key Ressponsibilities This role will be responsible for the proactive & reactive support of our Senior Executives members.• Deployment of New Technologies: Manage the deployment of new technologies to executives without any disruption. Ensure that executives have access to the latest tools and systems.• Software Upgrades & Patching: Oversee the software upgrades and patch deployment to executive devices (windows laptops/ MacBooks, iPads, iPhones, Android Devices).• Preventive & Proactive Maintenance: Schedule preventive health checks and maintenance on Executive devices as needed. Proactively identify and address potential issues before they impact executives' work.• Network Configuration: Configure and maintain network settings for executives. Ensure secure and reliable connectivity.• End-User Training: Train executives and/or their executive assistants on network connectivity issues, software applications, AV technologies, and other technical aspects. Provide clear instructions and guidance.• Problem Solving: Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues promptly. Track computer system issues through to resolution within agreed time limits.• Communication: Communicate effectively with executives via phone, email, or chat. Provide timely and accurate solutions to their technical problems.• Responsible for supporting (along with AV Engineer) Townhalls Hall and similar events.• Engage the wider Workplace technology Operations and Engineering team to resolve issues.• Escalate to Workplace Tech Management team in a timely manner and keep them updated on progress made on issues.• Knowledge and ability in all aspects of a Windows workstation environment (Windows 10/11, O365, Azure Active Directory, Teams/Zoom, Intune and modern desktop management, Autopilot, mobile management, Device as a Service, WiFi, VPN, collaboration and conferencing solutions, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), user persona or profiles, asset management via CMDB/AD)• Collaborate with members of the IT Security, Network engineering and operations, Workplace Technology Architecture and Engineering and Infrastructure and Cloud Engineering teams to ensure our set up meet the executive requirements and align with the overall IT portfolio, processes, and procedures. Your skills and experience that will help you excel Qualifications:• Education: A relevant degree in fields such as Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering is preferred.• Certifications: Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert, MS-102: Microsoft 365 Administrator, JAMF certificationSkills:• Proficiency in Windows and Mac OS, Microsoft 365 products including Outlook and Teams• Ability to troubleshoot L1-L2 issues related to Azure Active Directory, Teams/Zoom, Intune and modern desktop management, Autopilot, Mobile Device Management, Wi-Fi, VPN, Collaboration and Conferencing solutions.• Ability to cope with varying workloads and self-manage tasks.• Experience in an Executive Technical Support role.• Excellent communication skills and assertiveness.• Ability to show empathy and be able to communicate effectively with senior leaders.
